Tip: leave your ski equipment up in Fiescheralp For everyday use, it is often much more convenient to leave your skis, ski boots, helmet and other winter sports equipment up in Fiescheralp. For example, heated ski storage is available at INTERSPORT Volken Sport Fiescheralp for a small fee. This means you do not have to take all your ski equipment back to Lax at the end of each day.

Getting around

You really do not need a car during your stay. Lax railway station is just 30 metres from the apartment. Trains run every 30 minutes to Fiesch, which takes around 5 minutes, with a direct connection to the gondola to Fiescheralp and the Aletsch Arena. Brig can be reached by train in about 20 minutes. With a valid ski pass, the train journey to Fiesch is included. This makes it easy to explore the region comfortably and more sustainably, without relying on a car every day.

Neighborhood

Lax is a peaceful mountain village in the Aletsch Arena, ideal for skiing, hiking and cycling. The railway station is just 30 metres from the apartment, and Fiesch with the gondola to Fiescheralp is only about 5 minutes away by train. A Volg supermarket is located right next to the building, while Fiesch and Brig offer larger shops, restaurants and other amenities.
